The attiny85 is a small microcontroller with enough power and memory to run a few addressable leds. I found out by testing it and I got good results from it !

ATtiny AVR programmer by Sparkfun / ATtiny85 lighting up 2 LEDs from 2 different pins for the lulu as part of the KOBA Wicked Winterschool.
